Guru Geri in Georgia

In 2010 I flew to Georgia on my 126th trip abroad with Klaudia, Hartmut and Brigitte. In Tbilisi and in Kakheti we experienced the organic farming institutions, some producers and the culture and history (LOGO e.V. helped me to get in touch with the right people). An afternoon in the old Royal Schwefelbad in Tbilisi.
One day we spent near Rustavi in the flat plain. I drove a rickety rental car at night through the city of Tbilisi (shortly before the traffic jam), my first tour in the city.

Altogether we were 11 days in this country on the way, still very much shaped by the reconstruction after the Soviet time. The Caucasus in the north is already very formative. The people nice but not yet arrived in the present time. They still need a lot of help and time.

From Georgia made a detour to Azerbaijan and Armenia.
